The last week of October suddenly is here. It seems like the season of hibernation is not too far away.
Our provincial election concluded with a change in government. Of course we have a binary political system – left or right. We appear to be similiar to a ping pong game. Will we ramp up the economy by resource extraction?
Maybe part of our problem is the continuation of the same language and terms for areas that are rapidly changing and have a very different context. Can we create new terms as we exist in this different world and changing culture? We tend to hold onto old notions that are no longer valid or necessary. Too many terms carry old associations.
